Why is it that since childhood, the society tells us what jobs are respectful and what jobs are not? Why is it that to the current world, one’s social status has become more important than his/her happiness? Why is it we, despite knowing this, still choose to walk on the same, worn out path? The reason is we are afraid. Afraid that we wouldn’t succeed in our dream job. Afraid that we would be looked down upon by the society. Afraid that we wouldn’t be able to continue with the living standards provided to us by our parents. But the one thing we tend to forget is it wouldn’t matter.
